POLICIES

1. BILLING PROCEDURES
New advertisers are required to prepay their first insertion. After initial period and credit approval, advertisers will be on an account basis. 2% cash discount on net if payment is postmarked within 10 days of invoice date.
Terms 2%, 10 days/net, 30 days. Payable in U.S. funds only; MasterCard, Visa & American Express accepted.

2. COMMISSION
Agency commission: 15% on space, color, and special position charges.

3. CONTRACTS/SHORT-RATES/REBATES
Advertisers under contract at the time of notification of rate change will be protected for the duration of their contract. Advertisers will be short-rated if within a 12-month period from the date of the first insertion they do not use the amount of space upon which their billings have been based. Advertisers will be rebated if within a 12-month period from the date of the first insertion they have used sufficient additional space to warrant a lower rate than that at which they have been billed.

4. CANCELLATIONS
No cancellations accepted after closing date. All notifications of cancellations must be in writing. Cancellation of space orders forfeits the right to position protection.

5. COPY AND CONTRACT REGULATIONS
a) Publishers shall have no liability for errors in key numbers.
b) Publishers reserve the right to add the word advertisement" to copy.
c) Advertisements are accepted upon the representation that advertiser and its agency have the right to publish the contents thereof. In consideration of such publications, advertiser and its agency agree to indemnify and hold publishers harmless against any expense or loss by reason of any claims arising out of publication.
d) An order may be canceled by publishers if advertiser or agent fails to pay accounts when due, and the difference between rates billed and rates earned on space used shall become due and payable immediately.
e) Positioning of advertisements is at the discretion of the publishers, except when a request for a specific preferred position is acknowledged by publisher in writing.
f) Conditions, other than rates, are subject to change by publisher without notice.
g) Publishers shall have the right to hold advertiser and/or its advertising agency jointly and severally liable for such monies as are due and payable to publisher for advertising that advertiser or its agency ordered and that was published.
h) Publishers shall not be subject to any liability whatever for any failure to publish or circulate because of strikes, work stoppages, accidents, fires, or other circumstances beyond publisher's control.
i) Publishers shall not be liable for any costs or damages if for any reason an advertisement is not published.
j) No conditions other than those set forth in this rate card shall be binding on publishers unless specifically agreed to in writing by publishers. Publishers will not be bound by conditions printed or appearing on order blanks or copy instructions that conflict with provisions of this rate card.
